Since December 1994, the following has taken place:
In a unanimous decision by the five (5) members of Forest Hills Trout Co-Op, the Traditional Anglers of Pennsylvania was accepted into that organization.
Two speakers were present for the March meeting and spoke to the members and held a question and answer session afterwards.  The speakers were Rick Lorson, biologist for the southwest division of the PA Fish and Boat Commission, and Christ McDevitt, the new Waterways Conservation Officer for Cambria County.  They spoke on a variety of issues including PA"s trout rearing and stocking program; the condition of area streams; license fees; the Kane Run project; and, most importantly, the Delayed Harvest and other Special Regulation Areas.
T.A.P. by-laws were formally adopted at the May Meeting.
T.A.P. officers for the 1995-1996 year are: President, Dan Pfeilstucker; Vice-President, Pat Flynn; Secretary, Joe Shaw; Treasurer, Joseph Cyran; Trustees, George Chappell, Darryl Hanna; Fund Raising Director, Dennis Long; and, Member at Large, Arthur Flynn.
An audit was performed by the trustees of T.A.P. and all monies and property owned by T.A.P. are in good order.
T.A.P. has paid it's 1995-1996 SCRIP dues.  Forest Hills Co-op has also joined SCRIP.  SCRIP is a local organization that is cleaning up area waterways that are polluted with acid mine drainage.
T.A.P. President Pfeilstucker did a radio interview with Outdoor Writer Karl Powers in April.  Did anyone hear this on the radio?
The first annual, and the first fishing derby ever in Portage Borough was sponsored by T.A.P. and held on May 20, 1995, at Kane Run.   Approximately 180 kids fished at the free derby and prizes were awarded to different age groups.  Over 600 trout up to 18-20 inches were stocked.  Weather was perfect and the kids had a great time.  Deputy WCO Nardechia's co-operation was very much appreciated.
